PushLast is a Shopify app that automatically moves out-of-stock products to the bottom of collections you enable. Products that are in stock appear first. You can also choose how available products are ordered, including by title, price, date created, or Recently In Stock.
Does it hide or unpublish my sold-out products?
PushLast changes the order of products in your collections. It does not delete or unpublish them. Published product pages keep their URLs; sold-out products remain in the collection, below available products. Your theme, filters, and other apps can still affect what shoppers see.
What happens when a product comes back in stock?
PushLast processes inventory changes so restocked products can return ahead of sold-out products. The Recently In Stock option is designed to bring newly created and restocked products to the top. Sorting runs in the background; changes are not guaranteed to appear instantly.
Can I sort products that keep selling when out of stock?
Yes. By default, products with a variant set to “Continue selling when out of stock” are exempt from being pushed down. You can enable sorting for these products in PushLast’s settings. With that option enabled, tracked products whose variants all have zero or negative inventory can be moved down.
Do I need to edit my Shopify theme?
No theme-code changes are required to set up PushLast. Install the app, select your collections, and choose a sort order in Shopify Admin. Your storefront needs to display the collection’s product order for shoppers to see the result.
What should I know before enabling automatic sorting?
Enable it only for collections you want PushLast to reorder. Very large collections can take multiple processing passes. Turning automatic sorting off stops future PushLast sorting for that collection; it does not restore the order that existed before PushLast changed it.
